Daniel Hughes is a portrait photographer born and raised in Detroit, MI currently residing and based in Auburn Hills, MI.

Daniel has worn many hats over the years and one thing that’s been consistent is his passion for helping people. When Daniel has the opportunity to meet and learn about his clients he is able to capture their genuine self in images you can feel. Many call his sessions “Photo Therapy” because his calm demeanor eases the mood as he gracefully navigates through his sessions.  

The name “Dee” was a nickname given by his late grandmother whom he cherishes dearly. The “Hues” represents his care and fascination with the diversity of people’s beautiful differences. He appreciates people of all walks of life, no matter the Hue.
